STEELE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Acting head coach for LaMoure-Litchville-Marion Lucas Isaacson knew stopping Kidder County’s option offense was going to be difficult. And it was, the Wolves had three runners over 100 yards and had five rushing touchdowns in a 48-22 win Friday night at Mark Abbott Field.

The game got off to a good start for the Loboes when Shay Ness took the hand off on the first play from scrimmage ane went 68 yards for the score. But Kidder County came right back.

It took the Wolves seven plays to go roughly the same distance to score on their first possession. Jonah Harter scored on a one yard run to cap the 69 yard drive. The after a perfectly executed onside kick, the Wolves would strike again. Isaiah Harter scored the first of his three touchdowns on a 2 yard carry. He would add the two-point conversion making 16-8 Kidder County after one quarter.

Back came the Loboes as Aiden Brown hit Benji Heyd with a five yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter. Ness’s second two-point conversion made it 16-16. But Kidder County would take it from there.

Isaiah Harter scored his second touchdown on a 10 yard run with 8:12 to go in the quarter. Jonah Harter’s two point conversion made it 24-16. Then with 2:30 to go in the half, Jonah Harter hit Lucas Subart for a touchdown, the two point conversion made it 32-16 Wolves at the half.

But just like the first half, L-L/M would open the scoring in the half with Ness taking it in on a quick hitter up the middle. He out ran the defense for a 45 yard score.

 

 

The conversion was not good and that would be as close at the Loboes would get the rest of the night, trailing 32-22.

Isaiah Harter scored his final touchdown early in the fourth quarter on a one yard plunge. Which was set up by Jonah Harter’s 36 yard scamper.

 

 

 

Parker Hager finished things off with a seven yard score to cap the scoring with just over four minutes remaining in the game.

 

 

Isaiah Harter scored three touchdowns and added three two point conversions for 24 point night.

Kidder County improves to 4-3 on the year and 3-2 in Region 3. They travel to South Border next Friday night.
