JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- A trip west on I-94 is on the schedule for The Hi-Liners as they put their 3 game winning streak on the line against The Jamestown Blue Jays.
A defensive standoff against Devils Lake earned Valley City their 3rd consecutive win last Friday at Hanna Field. They kept The Firebirds out of the end zone with 162 yards but struggled on offense managing just 103 with a touchdown.
Coach Scott Roehrich and his players have spent the last week going back to basics in an attempt to end their offensive woes
Friday is homecoming for the 2-3 Blue Jays, they’re coming off a tough showing Saturday in Bismarck. They were beaten by St.Mary’s 37-7. With the exception of their meeting with The Saints, Jamestown’s defense has done a great job limiting team’s ability to run while creating turnovers. They’ve produced 5 defensive touchdowns this year.
Ball protection Friday night will be key for The Hi-Liners
Pregame begins at 6:45 with kick off at 7:00pm live from Ernie Gates Field on KOVC 1490 AM/96.3 FM. The game will also be video streamed on NewsDakota.com
