VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Investigators cracked a nearly one year old case where an ATM machine and cash was stolen from a Pillsbury, ND business back in October of 2017.
The Barnes County State’s Attorney’s office charged Darci Rebecca Elis of Fargo with felony burglary and felony conspiracy to commit theft of property stemming from an October, 14th of 2017 incident at a bar in Pillsbury.
Barnes County Chief Deputy Don Fiebiger said DNA found at the crime scene allegedly matched that of Elis in the course of this investigation which eventually led to her arrest in Fargo on September 19th of 2018. Her preliminary hearing is set for November 27th of 2018.
Fiebiger said the ATM machine was recovered several miles away in Traill County, North Dakota back in November of 2017. The ATM is owned by Quality Bank in Page, ND.
