JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission agreed unanimously to approve loan criteria from the state regarding a runway and taxiway project at the Jamestown Regional Airport.
Jamestown Regional Airport Director Samuel Seafeldt came before the commission Tuesday and requested to have both the county and city help cover in the case of default on the loan for the project.
There would be a split between the city and county if the airport would ever default on the $126,500 loan. The loan was part of the airport authority’s portion of the $2.5 million project with the rest coming from the Federal Aviation Administration and North Dakota Aeronautics Commission.
Seafeldt stated that right now, boardings are slightly down.
Seafeldt says the parking lot project is halfway done and looks very good so far.
