VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fires, floods, vehicle crashes, water rescues and recoveries are all part of the job.

Valley City volunteer firefighter Rich Hass retired after serving with the fire department for 28 years.

Fire Chief Gary Retterath said Rich will be missed.

On September 18th, Hass was recognized for his dedication with the fire department during a brief ceremony at a regular city commission meeting.
