Peggy Schultz, 65, of Bismarck, ND, passed away Thursday afternoon, September 13, 2018 at Eventide, Jamestown.
Peggy Schultz was born December 1, 1952, in Jamestown, the daughter of Oswald and Rose Schultz in Jamestown, ND. After graduating from Jamestown High School in 1970, she worked at the Jamestown Sun for 17 years and then moved to Bismarck in 1988. Peggy was proud she worked for Farm Credit Services for 30 years and just recently retired in December. She had many special friends from work, especially co-worker Jane Thomsen.
She was an animal lover and especially loved her poodles, including Jazzy, Sparky, Chance Lee and Ali – Anne being her latest.
She enjoyed fishing and was happiest when she could fish with her dad. One of her favorite cars was a 1973 Barracuda which she cherished. She also loved riding motorcycles, her last one a cherry red 250 Honda low-rider street bike. While she lived in Jamestown in her younger years she played basketball, volleyball, and softball leagues, bowled, and shot pool. Peggy was very creative, loved drawing and music, particularly playing guitar.
Peggy is survived by her parents, Oswald and Rose Schultz of Jamestown; sisters, Brenda (Harry) Peterson, Montgomery, MN; Debra (Mike) Arness, Ephrata, WA; and Jacyline (Steve Vogel) Roth, Fargo, ND. She is also survived by special aunts, Shirley Laber and Erika Schultz. Peggy loved and is survived by her 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Erik Weber officiating.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
