JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man is facing multiple charges after investigations found he had ingested meth and engaged in sexual acts with a minor.

According to court documents, Jacob Ray Eberhardt, 19, was on probation and parole when the incident occurred on August 3rd. Detective Dale Ackland reports that during an interview with Eberhardt, he admitted to having smoked methamphetamine and confirmed to having relations with a minor.

Eberhardt faces charges of Corruption or Solicitation of Minors, Harboring a Runaway Minor, Ingesting a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful to Encourage or Contribute to the Deprivation or Delinquency of a Minor.

Eberhardt’s initial appearance and bond set will be today at 3 PM before Judge Troy LeFevre. He’s currently being held on $500 bond.
