JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High volleyball team is still searching for their identity early in the 2018 season and they ran into the Lauren Ware-led Century Patriots Thursday night at Jerry Meyer Arena. Century rolled to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-13) win following a huge third set.
Jamestown had a change to even the match in the second, but couldn’t put the Pats away. The Jays lead 10-3 and 20-14 before Century mounted their comeback led by Ware.
In the third set, it was all Century and the moved to a perfect 3-0 in WDA play. The Jays falls to 3-2 on the year.
Jamestown travels to Marshall for a two-day tournament this weekend.
