JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – When an emergency occurs, the Jamestown Regional Medical Center wants to be able to respond immediately with their services.
By adding new Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Crystal Krapp to their team, they’re taking those steps to make that service possible.
Krapp joined the JRMC in 2007 where she worked as a registered nurse in departments including the Family BirthPlace, emergency, med/surg, and surgery. Krapp says she decided to join the orthopedics team when she learned that the department needed more assistance.
Krapp stated that she is excited to continue working at the JRMC and making sure individuals in the region won’t need to travel far for the best care.
Currently, the orthopedic team includes Orthopedic Surgeons Dr. Michael T. Dean and Dr. Timothy Volk as well as Physician Assistant Patrick Walter. Onboarding Krapp means the orthopedic team will soon have the capacity to offer same-day and next-day appointments for sprains, strains, aches and breaks.
Krapp says they’re also excited to announce that they will be present at high school football games to be on hand if something happens.
When Krapp is not working, she enjoys spending time traveling and enjoying the outdoors with her two children: Ethan (5), Aubrey (10), and husband Grant. She also owns and operates a medical aesthetic business called Body Bliss Aesthetics.
