JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Newsdakota.com) – Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and the Young Professionals of Jamestown held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 5th to celebrate the newly remodeled trail behind the Anne Carlsen Center.

Laurie Skadsem was on hand to speak about the trail which was built several years ago, but the project to remodel was started just a few months ago. The trail, which is located behind the Anne Carlsen Center building, was worked on by a committee that consisted of volunteers from Realtruck.com and the Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown.

“The trail consists of things like a wooden xylophone for kids to play music, a coin pond, and fish tank among other things with more to be added later,” the chamber stated. “The trail provides a great opportunity for students and staff to be outside and enjoy lunch and other activities! Contact the Anne Carlsen Center today to learn more about what all the newly remodeled trail has to offer.”

Businesses qualify for a ribbon-cutting ceremony if they open, move, remodel, are under new ownership or change their name.
