JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown, North Dakota native has written an autobiography after more than 50 years of experience in media.
Born and raised in Jamestown, Dave Munsey recalls his time growing up in the Buffalo City and the experiences that then led him to his long career in Phoenix, Arizona.
In his autobiography titeld Munsey Business, Munsey details his life and experiences from growing up in Jamestown to retiring after 51 years in broadcasting. Munsey says when he began writing the book on his experiences, he found that he often made references to his roots and growing up in Jamestown.
Munsey says a little turned into a few chapters, stories from his schooling to running errands and picking up bar talk at the age of 15.
Through his career, Munsey says there has been a lot of connections from Jamestown reaching out to him as he continued to grow in Phoenix.
Munsey officially retired in 2017. On September 7th, Munsey will make his way back to Jamestown for a meet & greet and book signing at the Dakota Store from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
