WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- In their second EDC match of the season Valley City dropped a 4 set match to West Fargo Sheyenne 24-26, 16-25, 25-19, 22-25. The Hi-Liners fall to 1-1 in the region and 5-3 overall.

Leading the way for VCHS’s defense was Grace Scherr with 30 digs. Cali Halgrimson had 20 digs and Josie Berntson 14. At the net Berntson collected 10 blocks while Taryn Dieterle had 7.

Halgrimson had a team high 15 kills, Macy Olstad added 8 and Lindsey Noeske 6. Natalie Lemnus paced The Hi-Liners with 19 assist.

Valley City plays at home for the first time Tuesday hosting Wahpeton, coverage on KOVC 1490 AM-96.3 FM and NewsDakota.com begins 10 minutes before first serve.
