ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Ellendale High volleyball team won their first game of the 2018 season Thursday night at home with a 3-0 victory over Kidder County.

The Cardinals won by scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-21. Katelyn Dathe had 10 kills, while Taylor Krege had six kills and four aces in the victory. Madelyn Schmidt registered a team high 14 kills and two aces for the Wolves.

Ellendale heads to Barnes County North Tuesday September 4. Kidder County heads to Fessenden to face Harvey/Wells County Tuesday.
