JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A group of community volunteers came together earlier this summer to recreate a historic photo in front of the 1883 Stutsman County Courthouse.

The photo was first taken in 1883 and featured A. McKechnite and J.J. Nierling. It was donated by D.C. Carpenter and according to Site Supervisor Steve Reidburn, featured several other big players in getting the courthouse built.

Reidburn says a bunch of community volunteers came together to help recreate the historic photo. The imitation photo will be available for purchase for a small donation to the 1883 Historic Stutsman County Courthouse.
