JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Ironhorse Rebels of Jamestown will be holding their second annual Salvation Army Fun Run this Saturday for the Jamestown Salvation Army.

Ironhorse Rebel member Tina Drewett says the club has been together for around 4 years and decided to hold a fundraiser for the Jamestown Salvation Army because of their need around this time of the year.

Drewett says they expected a smaller turnout their first year, but still had a great time and raised some money for the Salvation Army.

Drewett says there’s been a lot of community support to make the event possible and allow all funds raised to go directly to the Jamestown Salvation Army. The run will hold registration at 10 AM Saturday with kickstands going up at Noon at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Drewett says the 180-plus mile trip will take the ride across different parts of the area with planned stops for meals and fuel. The cost to ride is $20 per bike and $10 per passenger. The goal is to raise more than $1,000 and top last years proceeds.
