JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce City Beautification Committee is pleased to announce the weekly winner of the Yard of the Week Program for 2018.

Jack and Alice Reuther of 1412 15th Street SW in Jamestown, have received this award for Week Thirteen.

“Thanks goes to Jack and Alice for their beautification efforts to develop this outstanding yard,” the chamber stated. “Their commitment to helping beautify Jamestown is very much appreciated. Please drive by to see this beautiful yard to congratulate and thank them for their efforts. Congratulations on a job well done!”

The Yard of the Week program has been established to recognize those within the community who take pride in the appearance of their yard and do their part to beautify the community.

This is the last award recipient for this year’s Yard of the Week program. The program began June 1st and ends August 31st.

“These beautiful yards have been selected each week from nominations received. Nominated yards must be visible from the street. Please know that there will be another chance next summer, so please watch for the nomination forms to be available starting in May of 2019.”

For future reference, you can nominate a yard for the Yard of the Week program for 2019 by contacting the chamber or going to the chamber website. The completed forms require a valid phone number so we can contact the perspective winner. Forms will also be available on our Facebook page or on our website at www.jamestownchamber.com.

All single-family residences within Jamestown are eligible for the program.
