JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – According to statistics, roughly 90% of all child car safety seats are either not hooked up correctly or are misused.

To help, Jamestown Head Start and the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Family BirthPlace will be sponsoring a car seat safety checkup at the Early Head Start Parking Lot Thursday.

“Certified technicians will be available to assist the public with their child passenger safety needs,” a release says.
