JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The local Jamestown Theatre group is searching for individuals interested in acting in one of two planned upcoming One Acts this September.

Director Bill Nybo says they have picked two shows to perform in September and are searching for anyone interested to attend auditions. Nybo says he really wanted to try something different for the annual dinner theater.

Nybo says they could also use individuals to construct the stage and other duties for the One Acts.

He says the two shows they’ve decided on include “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and “Conflict.”

On Monday July 30th and Wednesday August 1st, auditions for both shows will be held at the Hansen Center from 6 to 8 PM.

Nybo says another unique thing they’re adding this year is a Reader’s Theatre in between the One Acts.

The One Acts will be September 20th, 21st, and 22nd at the Jamestown Arts Center. Dinner will be served at 6 PM and the show will start at 7 PM.
