WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A former 7th grade science teacher at Liberty Middle School in West Fargo has been charged with having sexual contact with two students, a 14 and-16 year-old boy.

37-year-old Shannon Moser resigned earlier this month.

The school district says police have asked that it delay any internal investigation until law enforcement completes the criminal aspect of the case. Administrative staff say they share in the community’s shock and hurt.

Police say the investigation began last month after the department received anonymous information.
