VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The VC Tennis Association hosted their 12th annual VC Junior Open Tennis Tournament on July 13-14th in Valley City. This USTA-sanctioned tournament drew 68 players from ND and MN, from ages 12-18, participating in singles and doubles. Sponsors include: On the Move, Quilted Ceiling, VC Park and Recreation and VC Tennis Association.
Derek Bear and Blake Triebold won the boys 16 doubles championship and Max Magnuson and Treylan Cope were boys 14 doubles consolation winners.
In the girls 12 singles competition Drew Potratz was 2nd and Breck Sufficool was 3rd.
