NEW ROCKFORD, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  First basemen Trey Rosenau was 2-for-3 at the plate with four RBI and scored a run to help Post 25 come from behind to defeat New Rockford Post 30 in a Class B Central Region matchup.  Post 25 improves to 11-3 in the region and 21-6 overall, NR drops to 9-5 in the central region and 14-8.

The game was tied at two heading into the bottom of the second inning, then Luke Ystaas knocked in Hunter Thompson from first base on an RBI double for the 3-2 lead.  Post 25 would retake the lead in the top of the fifth inning scoring three runs, leading 5-3.  Then Post 30 scored two more runs to tie it again. But in the top of the sixth inning, Carrington would send nine batters to the plate, score five runs to take the 10-5 lead. Reliever Jayden Shipmen would give up three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but would eventually get the final out so Post 25 would hang on to get the victory.

Kyle Leopaldt picked up the victory on the mound, working six innings. Shipman worked the seventh. Cole Myhre suffered the loss, working five and a third, Teddy Allmaras worked an inning and two-thirds. Seth Soderholm for Post 30 was 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBI and scored a run.  Ystaas ended 2-for-4 with an RBI double.  Payton Smith had two singles along with two RBI as well.
