JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown has announced that beginning Friday, June 20th, pedestrian traffic will be closed temporarily for an ADA curb ramp project.
The City Engineer’s Office reports that sidewalks along 5th Street NE from 1st Avenue N to 5th Avenue NE will be closed while work happens for the next two weeks. The intersection of 1st Avenue N and 4th St. NE will also be restricted motor vehicle access down to one lane.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use extreme caution in the area and use alternative routes if possible.
