VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – According to a news release by the Barnes County Sheriff’s office, the jail is adequate to once again house minimum security offenders in the upper level of the facility in Valley City.
The minimum security portion of the jail was shut down in December of 2017 following an inspection by the state. After some construction modifications and other policy changes the state has once again opened that portion of the facility. More details are listed below.
