JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown American Legion Post 14 will be hosting four other teams this weekend as the Phil Brown Classic American Legion Baseball Tournament begins today at Jack Brown Stadium.

There will be five games played each day, plus a picnic and skill competition on Saturday. Teams from Devils Lake, Gillette, Wyoming, West Fargo, Minot and Carrington will join Post 14 for three days baseball.

Here is the schedule for the weekend:

Friday July 6

9:30am       Devils Lake vs. Gillette

12:00pm     Jamstown vs. Devils Lake

2:30pm       Gillette vs. West Fargo

5:00pm       Carrington vs. Minot

7:30pm       Jamestown vs. Carrington

Saturday July 7

9:00am       Gillette vs. Minot

11:30am – 12:00pm   Picnic/Skills Competition

12:45pm     Carrington vs. Devils Lake

3:15pm        Minot vs. West Fargo

5:45pm        Jamestown vs. West Fargo

8:15pm       Carrington vs. Gillette

Sunday July 8

9:30am       Minot vs. Jamestown

12:00pm     Minot vs. Devils Lake

2:30pm        Devils Lake vs. West Fargo

5:00pm       West Fargo vs. Carrington

7:30pm        Jamestown vs. Gillette

All of the Jamestown games can be heard on 1400 ESPN pregame approximately 15 minutes before first pitch. All of the Carrington games can be heard on 1600 KDAK – The Cardinal. Pregame 15 minutes before first pitch.
