JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man with several outstanding warrants was captured after a short pursuit on foot Monday afternoon in Jamestown.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, 43 year-old Robert Lee fled officers when he was located in the 600 block of 6th Avenue East. Following a chase, an officer apprehended Lee just after 4 PM with support from the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and the Stutsman County Drug Task Force.

Lee is currently being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center on an outstanding warrant for two counts of burglary and two counts of theft of property in Foster County.

He may now face charges on subsequent offenses of failure to halt, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
