VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Attention motorists, 8th Avenue SW is open to through traffic for cars and light trucks.

The contractor working on the concrete pavement repair project has opened 8th Avenue SW between Viking Drive and Winter Show Road to one lane of traffic, with the use of temporary traffic signals, between Viking Drive and 3rd Avenue SW.

No parking will be permitted on 8th Avenue SW during the construction project. All heavy truck traffic is to follow the established truck route detour in Valley City.
