VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several spectators had an eye on the Hi Line Bridge last night as two trains appeared to be facing each other near the middle of the bridge.
BNSF spokeswoman Amy McBeth said it wasn’t two trains nose to nose like it appears. She said there was maintenance equipment on the bridge at the time, which included a locomotive crane and hy-rail vehicles.
McBeth said they conduct routine maintenance to continue to operate safely and serve their customers.
