JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Adults, children and even pets made it to the inaugural Jamestown Downtown Arts Market Thursday evening.

The event, put on by the Jamestown Arts Center, will bring in vendors, quilting, art courses, live music, food, and more all summer long. Jamestown Arts Center Education Coordinator Myra Olson says they brought vendors in from all over.

With over 80 people in the first hour, Olson was happy with the turnout.

Although some rain came through, many stuck around until it cleared up. Arts Center Executive Director Larry Kopp was proud of the turnout and the event finally coming to fruition.

Kopp also reminds those who attended the event that it will be different each week, making each Thursday a unique experience downtown.
