JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Preliminary numbers for the 11th Annual Running of the Pink suggested it would be the events largest turnout ever.

On Monday, the final numbers solidified that.

“The 11th Annual Running of the Pink came in with a record breaking 710 event registrants,” Tara Kapp stated. “ROP committee members have always made it a goal to top previous years’ numbers little by little so this year we had hoped to hit 600. 2017 saw 567 registrants and 2016 with 589, which we had hoped to beat. We are incredibly humbled by the outpouring of support, especially on such a cold and windy day!”

Results from the race are online at onlineraceresults.com.

Kapp says while donations are still coming in, so far they’ve raised $19,850 from sponsorships, registrations and donations. She says a final total will be announced at a later date.
