Jamestown, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—–The Carrington Cardinals blanked the Beulah Miners 7-0 in the third place game of the North Dakota high school state tournament at Jack Brown Stadium. Cardinal senior pitcher Jayden Shipman pitched a complete game shutout allowing just 4 hits and struck out five batters to pick up the victory. Trey Rosenau and Drew Page both went 2-4 at the plate and both had 2 RBI to pace the Cardinal offense. Mikey Morris took the loss for the Miners, allowing 7 total runs (5 earned runs), 10 hits, 2 walks, 1 hit batter, and 5 strikeouts. Carrington finished the season 14-6 overall and Beulah finished 23-9.
