JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 8 different motorcycle clubs and chapters from the region spent a windy Saturday afternoon riding to raise money for area non-profits of their choice.
Stutsman Harley-Davidson General Manager John Seifert says the 8 chapters participating chose a non-profit that they wanted funds raised to be donated to.
Clubs that participated include The CMA Dakota Sonshine Riders of Jamestown, Crusaders of Jamestown, Dakota Riders of Valley City, Jamestown HOG Chapter, Individuals of Jamestown, Lunacy of Devils Lake, Spirit Lake Riders of Devils Lake, and the Prairie Riders MC Berlin and Walum.
Seifert says the run of around 160 miles was constructed by the Jamestown HOG Chapter and consisted of six stops before returning to the dealership.
Last year, the event was able to raise $5,000 and Seifert was hopeful they could raise that much or more this year. A total amount raised will be posted at a later time.
