WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A routine stop by the North Dakota Highway Patrol resulted in a large drug bust Wednesday along I-94.
Lt. Troy Hischer reports that a trooper made a traffic stop near West Fargo. Steve Shipe, 33, of Eureka, CA was the driver of the vehicle.
“A West Fargo Police Department K9 unit was requested,” Lt. Hischer reports. “The K9 indicated the presence of drugs. A probable cause search resulted in locating 100 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.”
Shipe was arrested on drug charges and taken to Cass County Jail.
