JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The West Region baseball and softball brackets were released on Monday and both Jamestown teams will play in the 4/5 match-ups of their respective tournaments.
The softball tournament will be held in Mandan beginning on Thursday and the Jays are the fifth-seed. They will play the second game of the day against #4 Bismarck High. The two teams split their four meetings this spring with the Demons winning the two conference games.
11am: #1 Dickinson vs. #8 Legacy
1pm: #4 Bimsarck vs. #5 Jamestown
3pm: #2 Minot vs. #7 Williston
5pm: #3 Century vs. #6 Mandan

BASEBALL
The Jamestown baseball team went to their first ever West Region Championship game a year ago as the #7 seed and they are looking to get back to the state tournament for the second consecutive year.
Action begins at Aafeldt Stadium in Williston on Thursday with the play-in game at 10am. Jamestown plays the third and middle game of the day. They will open their run in the tournament with a battle against Mandan, a team they swept just over a week ago.
10am: #8 Bismarck vs. #9 St. Mary’s
12:15pm: #1 Century vs. Play-in winner
2:30pm: #4 Jamestown vs. #5 Mandan
4:45pm: #2 Minot vs. #7 Dickinson
7pm: #3 Williston vs. #6 Legacy
