JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Kevin Michael Hoff made his initial appearance in Stutsman County Court Tuesday.
Hoff, 27, of Montpelier has been charged with murder after he called police on May 13th to inform them that he had shot and killed his ex-wife 25 year-old Nicole Gututala-Hoff of Jamestown.
Hoff appeared before Judge Jay Schmitz in Southeast District Court. His bond was set at $500,000. Court documents show he could enter a plea July 11 to a charge of Class AA felony murder, which carries a potential punishment of life in prison without parole.
