VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Riverside Nursery’s gardeners Jeannie Blom and Betty Breckheimer are busy designing the Valley City’s street planters for this year’s summer season. Every year, the Valley City Beautification Committee has placed planters in front of businesses along Main Street and Central Avenue in order to provide a welcoming hometown feel to the downtown.

Riverside Nursery will have the planters ready and in full bloom in time to enjoy for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Valley City Beautification Committee is a group of dedicated and hardworking local volunteers who spend numerous after work hours enhancing the beauty of our community. The committee is always looking for additional volunteers to help out with the seasonal planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, watering etc. requirements of our many established public green spaces.
