VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Preventice Solutions is operating a center in Valley City. The company is looking to train and hire more technicians over the next few weeks.
Preventice Solutions is a remote heart monitoring company that has grown from a few employees in 2007 to nearly 700 across the nation. The center in Valley City became latest operational center in April of 2018. The Valley City office is located in the Regional Technology Center.
Preventice Solutions is a leading developer of mobile health solutions and remote monitoring by utilizing portfolio of services, sensors, and software that connect patients and caregivers.
Preventice is hosting an EKG class starting Monday, June 4th and running through Friday, June 8th. Preventice Vice President of Lab Engineering and Operations is Briain Holder said the company is looking to hire technicians in the Valley City office.
Valley City Monitoring Center Manager Sarah Hansen said, “We help physicians by offering services and solutions for the diagnosis, monitoring and clinical management of cardiac arrhythmias in the United States.
Hansen said, “We are inviting those who have an interest in healthcare to attend this free course. The class will be a week-long from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be daily quizzes to assess your knowledge and understanding of subjects covered during the day.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be invited to interview for an EKG Technician position with Preventice.
The EKG Technician is responsible for the interpretation and reporting of EKG data received for patients wearing Preventice monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating their patients. Qualifications for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent.
