VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Hi-Liner baseball finally played at home for the first time this season and were host to The Grand Forks Central Knights.

The Knights would grab an early lead and not look back for an 11-1 victory. Central out hit VCHS 13 to 6 and were aided by 6 Hi-Liner errors. Central got a run in the 2nd, followed by three in the 3rd and two more in the 4th to get early 6-0 lead half way through the game.

Easton Hesch would get hit with the loss. He throw all 7 innings giving up 11 runs(6 earned) on 13 hits while walking 1 and striking out 4.

The loss puts Hi Liners record to 0-10.  VCHS next plays Fargo Davies, Friday (5/11) in VC at 5pm.
