JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown will have their graduating class of 2018 walk the stage this weekend at the New Harold Newman Arena.
Commencement activities begin Friday May 11th and run through Saturday, May 12th. The Alumni Hall of Fame Banquet will be in the Harold Newman Arena Lobby at 5 PM with Jim Johnson (’65) and Kerstin Leuther (’88) being added to the Hall of Fame. Dr. Irene Paasch (Communication Department Chair) and Dorothy Holley (English Faculty) will be recognized as Professors Emeriti.
A commencement concert will be held at 7:30 PM in the Voorhees Chapel.
On Saturday, May 12th, Baccalaureate will be at 10:30 AM in the Harold Newman Arena with Professor Ben Kirkeby speaking. Following will be the nursing pinning ceremony in the Reiland Fine Arts Center.
Graduation is scheduled for 2:30 PM at Harold Newman Arena. Former University President Dr. Robert Badal will be the commencement speaker.
The University will graduate 186 undergrads, 67 Masters Level in Leadership and Education and 36 in the Doctor of Physical Therapy.
