JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to locate an individual following a pursuit Monday evening.

Officials say 31 year-old Amanda Leavy is being sought for questioning regarding the pursuit, which began after 10 PM in Southeast Jamestown. The brief pursuit lasted about 10 minutes, ending with the vehicle last being seen eastbound on I-94 from the Spiritwood Exit.

Police attempted to stop the car in question concerning possible outstanding warrants of Leavy driving under suspended license. When she failed to stop, the pursuit began.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol Assisted, but both departments were unable to find the car. Anyone with information regarding Leavy is asked to contact teh Jamestown Police Department at 701-252-1000.
