JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School Board approved just around $1.07 million in maintenance projects that will take place over the summer.

During the meeting Monday evening, projects involving the Central Office building, Roosevelt Elementary, bus garage and more were discussed. The board approved all of the projects.

Major projects and costs this summer include roof replacement at the Central Office building and L-Shaped section at the middle school for around $490,000, $202,000 has been for the boiler at Roosevelt Elementary, $100,000 for a new bus garage.

Other projects include boiler and sewer main projects at Gussner Elementary School, kitchen renovation at Lincoln Elementary and maintenance at Louis L’Amour. Exterior caulking and new pool drains and maintenance at both the Jamestown North school and James Valley Career & Technology Center is also planned.
