VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The unbeaten and No.2 ranked Hi-Liner softball team will get their first chance to play at home this season Thursday night when they play The Fargo South Bruins.
Tuesday night Valley City found some early struggles against Grand Forks Central before a late inning offensive explosion propelled them to a 9-5 victory, their 6th of the year. The Knights entered the game having lost 6 straight but had a strong showing against The Hi-Liners.
Coach Jason Lindgren relayed the message after the game that his team needs to start expecting the best from everyone they face
The Bruins won their season opener against Shanley but since then have dropped 4 straight. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30, pregame on KOVC 1490AM-96.3FM and NewsDakota.com starts around 4:15.
