VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City State will attempt to gain some ground in the standings and pick up momentum heading into the final weekend of The NSAA regular season.

The Vikings are 14-23 overall and 7-11 in the conference. They sit .5 game behind 6th place Viterbo University and 3 games behind 5th place Presentation College. Last season VCSU went 17-5 in April and made a tournament run ending in the semifinals.

Coach Casey Olney says the team hasn’t ruled out another playoff push

 

Mayville State, the team that eliminated The Vikings last year, is sitting tied for 1st place in The NSAA at 13-3. They are coming off a weekend split with No.16 Jamestown.
