EDGELEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There was no major structural damage after a fire at the CHS Feed Plant in Edgeley Wednesday morning.

Reports from the fire department say the fire occurred at around 8 AM. No damage occurred to the plant, bin of feed, and the fire did not spread to other surrounding structures.

While the cause of the fire isn’t officially known, it’s estimated that the cause was likely moldy grain that generated heat as it decayed.
