JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JimmieAthletics.com) – The University of Jamestown’s Kylee Voigt (SO/Jamestown, N.D.) has been named North Star Athletic Association Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Voigt ran a season-best outdoor time of 59.87 seconds to finish third in the 400 meter dash at Friday’s Northern State (S.D.) Twilight Meet. Her performance is the NSAA’s best in the outdoor 400 this season. Kylee also ran legs on UJ’s 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 meter relays that each turned in season-best outdoor times, and clocked a 60.8 second split in the 4 x 400 relay.

The Jimmie track and field teams will compete in Moorhead, Minn., twice this week–Wednesday at the Cobber Twilight, hosted by Concordia-Moorhead College, and Saturday at Minnesota State-Moorhead’s Ron Masanz Classic.
