OAKES,  N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A select group of area high school seniors will have an opportunity to suit up on the gridiron this summer as the North Dakota Shrine Bowl teams have been announced.

Representing the 9-Man East team are Kidder County ‘s Ty Hanson and Justin Six, Lance Weiser of Linton-HMB, Oakes’ Tyler Voightman; Alex Ruff from South Border, and   Andres Vasquez, Wyatt Harles and Charlie Moffet from the State Champions of Wyndmere-Lidgerwood. The Warbirds head coach Scott Strenge was named as the coach of the team.

Three players from Class A Region I are on the 11-Man East team; Ellendale-Edgeley-Kulm’s Clayton Grueneich along with Nathan Peterson and Dustin Kasowski from Enderlin/Maple Valley.

The Shrine Bowl games are set for July 14 at Fargo Shanley High School.
