BISMARCK, N.D. (KCND) – North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says he’s disappointed in Cargill’s decision to close its Spiritwood malting plant.
Goehring says he’s concerned about how this will affect North Dakota barley growers.
Goehring also says he doesn’t want to see the Spiritwood plant mothballed. He says it’s a very good facility.
Cargill will silll have facilities in West Fargo and Wahpeton.
