ABERDEEN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Both softball programs in Valley City will be in action Monday bringing their games indoors at The Presentation College Dome in Aberdeen.

Valley City State will play the first games of the day. The Vikings have seemly made the dome their home this season. All but 16 of their 37 games have been played outdoors, their last games not play at The PC Dome came back on April 5th in Bellevue.

Sunday night they split a pair of games with Dakota State losing 2-1 and winning 5-3.The Trojans are no strangers to playing indoor, they have played 24 games in Aberdeen this season.

Valley City High School, who’s been practicing exclusively indoors for a month, will get in their first game of the season. The opening two weeks of the year for The Hi-Liners has seen every contest get rescheduled and past Monday the schedule is still unknown.

Monday isn’t just an opportunity to hit the field but also a chance to face their rivals from the west in Jamestown.

First pitch for VCSU will be at 10am with second game set for 12pm. Both games can be heard on Q101 and NewDakota.com. The Hi-Liners and Blue Jays are set for 4pm and 6pm, that doubleheader can be heard on KOVC 1490AM/96.3 FM and NewsDakota.com
