GLENFIELD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two Minnesota men were injured after rolling a vehicle 5 miles east of Glenfield Wednesday.

At around 4:40 PM, a pickup driven by Stephen Koch of Slayton, MN was traveling to Cooperstown on Highway 200 when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and the passenger wheels left the pavement. The vehicle struck the approach of 97th Avenue NE and vaulted into the ditch, rolling several times before coming to rest.

Koch and passenger Edward Leonard of Tracy, MN were transported to Cooperstown Medical Center and then to Sanford Medical Center for serious injuries. Alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
