JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission met in regular session Tuesday to discuss several items.
Ryan Odenbach with the Stutsman County Soil Conservation District came before the commission to give them notice for the PTMApp Tool. The tool, which is used to prioritize resources and issues impacting them, target specific fields to place CPs and BMPs and measure water quality improvement.
Odenbach thanked the commission for their assistance in funding the PTMApp and gave them a meeting notice for those interested in learning more.
Later in the meeting, Tyler Perleberg, Director of Tax Equalization and Zoning Administrator, gave an update on the Dakota Spirit AgEnergy valuation that the county has been conducting.
Perleberg informed the commission that an initial valuation of DSA from Y Pickett Company put the property at $124,000,000.
Pereleberg says the second appraisal came in at $85 to $88.4 million, which he recommended the commission approve the sales approach. He feels the opinions will go all the way to the state level.
Other items addressed included establishing poll worker wages for 2018 elections and polling hours, approved the cleanup of Janice Harr’s Property, and the road superintendent’s request to purchase a forklift and skid steer mount pavement/grinder.
