JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With the first day of curbside recycling in the books, the Recycling Center of North Dakota is reporting a positive kick-off for the new service in Jamestown.
Both curbside recycling and automated garbage pickup began in Jamestown Monday, April 2nd. Recycle North Dakota Director Ralph Friebel says he was pleased to hear from the drivers and residents that recycling pickup was an overall positive experience for the first day.
When asked if there was anything they learned from the first day, Friebel says there are a few things residents need to do a bit differently moving forward.
Residents are reminded that recycle pickup will be every other week with the first pickup occurring this week along the same schedule as garbage pickup. People with questions on recycling are encouraged to contact Recycle North Dakota at 701-320-9218.
Questions on garbage pickup are asked to call the city at 701-252-5900.
